As far as system complexity and dynamics, it doesn’t get much more complex than a modern, industrial scale Flour Mill. Simply understanding the myriad processes and flows in the plant requires significant time and effort before opportunities can be identified.
The solution
CCA engaged with one of the leading names in milling in order to leverage specialised plant knowledge and deliver solutions that would enable the site to save energy without sacrificing production capacity or yield.
The results
Working collaboratively with the site maintenance, operations and projects teams CCA delivered a wide array of solutions across the flour mill itself, but also the grain intake and handling plant and bulk handling/dispatch systems. The site team continue to glean insights from our energy management platform, providing new ideas for future projects
